A simmering vendetta between two families in 1930s rural Spain is the backdrop to Lorca's timeless classic, Blood Wedding. On the eve of her wedding, a bride is ready to accept the honour and prosperity she will receive through marriage but first she has to decide between that and her desire for another love. Her choice unleashes dark forces which have fateful consequences for both families.

With stunningly poetic language, Blood Wedding engulfs us in a world where desire and passion are pitched against claustrophobic ritual and repressed emotions.
