Plaza Suite

First performed on Broadway in 1968 Plaza Suite has delighted audiences ever since.

Neil Simon has a reputation for writing comedies but this play offers more, creating snapshots of 3 couples at a pivotal moment in their lives. He deals with a serious subject matter but treats it with humour and compassion. Poignant moments, sharp and witty dialogue and physical comedy are all used to tremendous impact.  The man who wrote the film scripts for Barefoot in  the Park, The Sunshine Boys, and Biloxi Blues has created in Plaza Suite a perfect marriage of character and story, tinged with bittersweet commentary on how life pans out despite the best laid plans.
